Reading Log
Students also have a reading log located in their agenda folders. Students are expected to read for 20 minutes each night. For October, students need to complete 300 minutes on their reading log.
Class update
Test Revisions
When a Reading or Math test comes home, students will have the opportunity to make test revisions at home and return them to school the next school day. Students may work with and receive help from a parent/guardian while completing their revisions. This is a learning opportunity that allows students to review their mistakes, better understand the material, and build confidence. Students who complete and return their revisions will receive half credit back for the questions they revise. Please encourage your child to take their time, review their work, and use this opportunity to learn from their mistakes!
November 17th - 21st
Food and Hygiene Drive
Once again we will assist Central families in need this holiday season by collecting food and hygiene supplies for our Adopt-A-Family program. We are requesting the items listed below in order to complete packages for our families in need. Please take note of the suggested items for each grade level; but please donate whatever you are able to! Look for great sales on these items at your local grocery store for the holidays and pick up some extra to donate! Students can bring donations to school and place them in the atrium. Thank you for helping with this very important project.
